Description
Ophthalmic operating microscopes are designed to provide high contrast and detailed imaging of all regions of the human eye. The optical system often includes a beam splitter and a second set of teaching binoculars so that two people can view the operation simultaneously. A foot pedal connected on the floor allows the surgeon to control the focus and zoom during the procedure without use of hands.
